SPATIAL SPECIALIZATION OF AGRICULTURAL ENTERPRISES IN THE ALTAI TERRITORY JEL: G34, Q14, R51 УДК: 336.64

Abstract

The research was conducted in order to identify specialized areas of agricultural production in the Altai territory.The article shows the industry structure of agricultural enterprises in the Altai territory, taking into account productsales. The predominance of income from sales of grain, milk, poultry, and sunflower seeds in the structure of revenueof agricultural enterprises was revealed. Municipalities of the district are grouped into 4 groups by the number ofmain branches of agricultural production. It was found that among rural areas, areas with one main industry andno main industries predominated. The distribution of rural territories by the solvency of enterprises revealed thatthe group of insolvent enterprises concentrates about 13 % of employees and 16 % of the revenue of agriculturalenterprises in the region, 28 % — budget funds. The deterioration of the financial situation in this group of districtswill lead to an aggravation of socio-economic and demographic processes in rural areas.
