SPECIFICS OF COMPETENCE ASSESSMENT IN EDUCATION

In article specifics of estimation of competences of system of the higher education are researched. It is shown that the main feature of estimation of competences that results of training are described in the behavioural, observable and correlated to certain criteria educational purposes, acts. Such system of estimation assumes fixed correlation of results of training with educational and professional standards,the training purposes, search of corresponding “instruments” of estimation of competences. As such tools, depending on specifics of education, become: accomplishment of practical tasks, preparation of projects, development of regulating and legal documents, description of production operations and technologies, solution of educational situations, etc.
