Concept and Signs of Dangerous Driving

The article considers the most significant change in the Traffic Rules. The relevance of the topic is due to the recent change in legislation — the addition of the definition of "dangerous driving" to the Traffic Rules, the appearance on June 8, 2016 of paragraph 2.7. The emergence of a new category of dangerous driving in the Traffic Rules is undoubtedly a progressive element in the development of Russian legislation in the field of traffic rules. This will stabilize the situation on the roads. minimize accidents, save human lives.
One of the most important directions in state propaganda should be the propaganda of culture and road safety among the younger generation. The formation of a safe behavior model is especially necessary at the initial stage of the process, in order to change the attitude to safety in the critical majority of the population. At the same time, the main emphasis should be placed on the personal interest of young people in solving the problem of road safety, the need for reasonable, responsible, cultural, mutual respect and disciplined behavior on the roads, the attention of road users to each other, showing positive facts of culture and driving skills. Road safety depends on the legislator, the correctness and reality of the adopted norms, their functioning in society; however we must not forget that the rule of law is subject to the influence of the state and social system, which are time dependent. Taking into account the experience of foreign countries, the legislator can avoid shortcomings, predict the consequences of adopting this rule.
The article analyzes the legal norm concerning dangerous driving. Particular attention is paid to the study of signs of dangerous driving. Proposals have been made to amend the current legislation.
